Captain John Scmidt was born right here in the Daytona Beach area and has fished the inshore and offshore waters around Daytona Beach since childhood.  As a Daytona Beach fishing guide Captain John offers a variety of fishing charters for visting anglers both experienced and first timers. His inshore fishing charters on the beautiful Halifax River target saltwater species such as snook, black drum and redfish while his offshore fishing trips target an even wider variety of fish including snapper, grouper, cobia, amberjacks, king mackerel, barracudas and plenty more.
